Rashes II

I mentioned last night that I am having rashes, and I was effectively driven mad by the itch.

I exfoliate during my shower last night, hoping it was merely grime that caused the itch and a good scrub would work. It didnt, but I applied some cream and tried to sleep.

Didnt help, and I woke up in the middle of the night, experiencing burning sensations in my arms.

I had no choice but to use a remedy I saw on tv once. I began to smear liquid detergent onto where it itches, drew a couple of circles to spread out the detergent, then wash it off.

Because it is honestly weird to bathe with liquid detergent, I took to attacking each itch individually, thus causing me 1 hr in the shower room at 2am in the morning,

This morning, the itch had subsided, and most of the areas that had been treated last night is no longer itchy, but of course there are certain spots that are still going strong, but at least it is not my whole body now.

The ugly rashes and bumps have disappeared off my arms and hands, thank buddha, and though my skin is flushed red now, it is better than looking like some diseased being.

And the theory behind liquid detergent? As far as I understand, there's 2 types of itch. One of which is the kind that you experience in dry environment, and this kind of itch can be cured with a generous dose of moisturiser.

The second kind is what I called the poisonous kind. It could be a bug bite or an allergy, and such itch are acidic based. Hence with an application of liquid detergent to the problem spot, the alkaline will neutralise the acid.

Well, that is what I learnt from tv, you can try it at your peril.

(But seriously, when itches occur, any method is worth a try. Haha.)
