Movie: Invisible Target

I watched 男儿本色 yesterday with 3 friends, after a whole lot of discussions that started since wednesday.

I'd saw the trailer once on the big tv screen outside lido when I was in a taxi, and I was anticipating it since then.

The show is fast paced, with fighting actions every other minute. Between them, there's also some comical lines thrown in randomly by the different actors.

But the storyline is not very convincing. I can understand Nicholas's character vow to get the baddies because his fiancee was killed, and Jaycee is just a naive cop who thinks the world is perfect and hence baddies must be caught.

Shawn? He wants them arrested because he was humiliated by them. What kind of rationale is that?

But bypassing that, lasting 2 hrs, it is a show that is worth all $9.50 of your money because of all the injuries nicolas tse suffer from the show.

But my friends and myself agreed that there's TOO MANY glass shattering scenes. And the story line is quite silly, and nicholas tse's acting of him telling wu jing how his fiancee had died in the course of wu jing's crime is simply lousy.

Still, on a general whole, the show is still worth your watch. Catch it before it ends its showing in the cinema.
