Consider this...

You decided that you want to buy 100 oranges for a certain business. After comparing at 8 different fruit stalls you decided that one particular uncle seet gives you the best deal. You will be able to get the 100 oranges at 80% of the price.

You went back to tell all the other fruit stalls that you are not buying from them anymore because you are getting a better deal from uncle seet. They are ok with it, and each went to sell the oranges they reserved for you.

All's well until you go back to uncle seet. Now he tells you because of some circumstances, he can only sell you 80 oranges instead. You are frustrated because the deal was already decided on now why is he going back his words.

You understand that uncle seet is doing a business and you respect that he may have changed his mind for something for his benefit. You accepted his new arrangement, and he went ahead to prepare the oranges for you.

He came back and request for 100% of the original price, nevermind he gave you a discount earlier on and now he is giving you 20 less oranges.

You cant back out now because if you do, you cant even get the 80 oranges because all the other stalls have sold their reserves.

But if you accept, you are short of oranges and short of money too because now uncle seet is overcharging and giving you less than you need. You need the oranges for a business, and that cant be delayed. If it is, you will incur more monetary losses.

Uncle seet tried to persuade you into taking up the deal yet (because he is benefitting from it), and promised the next time you need oranges, he will throw in another 2 grapes for every 100 oranges you buy.

You think to yourself. Why is it uncle seet is having all the say and you cant even reject? It is because he gave too good an offer to began with and you put all the hopes on this offer and reject every other offer.

By the time when there is only one offer standing, uncle seet had you contained and manipulated. You cant escape.

From the bottom of your heart, you hope uncle seet gets run down by a car the next time he cross the road.
